Jennifer Lopez changed with motherhood
Jennifer Lopez May 29, 2008
New mom Jennifer Lopez will host the Noche de Niños benefit gala for the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
Lopez told The Associated Press that her twins inspired her to get more involved with the charity.
“They inspire me to want to be better … to do something for the world,” Lopez said.
The event, scheduled for October, will feature performances by Lopez, husband Marc Anthony, Alejandro Sanz and Latin rockers Juanes and Mana.
Jennifer Lopez is reportedly refusing to hire a nanny for her baby twins because she wants to be a full-time mother.
Lopez initially hired help to take care of her newborn boy and girl in February. However, the singer and actress won’t bring in a replacement nanny because she wants to take care of them herself.
“She’s beyond hands-on,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.
The source added that Lopez and husband Marc Anthony will put their careers on hold to raise twins Max and Emme: “They both told their managers that the next year would be all about family.”
