I'm hearing that superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is in the States to be examined by a Real Madrid doctor in Los Angeles today, the next step in his apparent move to the Spanish giants from Manchester United. One issue is a possible sports hernia injury, though it's not expected to prevent him from playing for Real in preseason friendlies against Toronto Aug. 7 and D.C.
