In this weekend's The Sunday Times magazine, Camille Paglia, the well-known feminist social critic, set her sights on the princess of pop, Lady Gaga. In an article titled 'Lady Gaga and the Death of Sex,' Paglia asserts that Gaga lacks the necessary sex appeal to be an icon of her standing and that her spectacle is little more than a "ghoulish" and "sexually dysfunctional" front so we don't notice.

They may have had a bad romance, but now there's a cordial professional split between Lady Gaga and a music producer who said she ditched him as both a collaborator and a boyfriend after he helped launch her career.
Court papers filed this week show the Grammy Award-winning "Bad Romance" singer and songwriter-producer Rob Fusari agreed to dismiss the lawsuits each filed against the other in March in a Manhattan court.
He'd sought $30.5 million, but it's unclear whether they made any monetary deal.

The Grammy-winning singer, 24, scored 13 MTV Video Music Award nominations Tuesday – the most ever received by any artist in a single year. The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will air live Sept. 12 at 9 p.m. EST.

Gaga, who showed up looking all kinds of biker chick chic, wearing an edgy bikini covered by a leather jacket, dark sunglasses, and a bandanna around her hair, got into a shouting match with a couple of guys who were obviously begging to have a bad romance with the singer.

Her usual requests have healthy products like 'low-fat milk', 'salsa and guacamole dips', and 'whole wheat bread' and 'crackers'.
The singer's drinks list is absolutely alcohol free and only includes 'Dr Pepper', 'ginger ale', 12 bottles of 'still water' and a dozen bottles of 'mineral water'.

Lady Gaga is known for her intense performances and her latest in New Zealand left her struggling to finish.
At the end of her concert in Auckland, Gaga almost passed out on stage during 'Bad Romance.'
Although she continued to sing while sitting down and at times lying on her back, the 23-year-old looked increasingly tired and sluggish as the song went on.
It's not the first time the rigorous demands of her tour have gotten to her. She had to postpone a concert in Indiana after passing out backstage.
