She was in top form during her skit on last night’s 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, and Lindsay Lohan is hoping to continue her career comeback with a hosting spot on “Saturday Night Live.”
According to a report, the “Georgia Rule” actress is in talks with NBC to host the December 4th episode of the late night sketch comedy program.
And if she manages to seal the deal, LiLo could prove to the world that she’s still a viable (and bankable) asset to potential film productions.

Fresh out of jail and rehab, Lindsay Lohan made her first appearance back on the Hollywood scene during a scripted skit for Chelsea Handler's VMA entrance.
Handler, the host of the show, is seen in her robe, clutching a cup. The troubled 'Mean Girls' star then confronts her and asks the comedian if she has been drinking, which Chelsea denies.
"Really, then why is your ankle bracelet going off?" Lohan questions in a cheeky reference to her own SCRAM bracelet that she was forced to wear before a judge ordered her to jail.

Tyler Shields, who shot Lindsay Lohan for the 'Inferno' posters, has released more photos from the shoot.
In the movie Lindsay is set to play porn star Linda Lovelace, who starred in 1972's 'Deep Throat.' Filming was supposed to begin this month, but with Lindsay in rehab for the next 90 days, rumors are swirling that she may be replaced by Sarah Scott, who has had guest roles on 'Nip/Tuck' and 'True Blood.'
The producer and director of 'Inferno' both told E! there's nothing to the recasting rumors.

She’s been serving time behind bars for the past 13 days, and now Lindsay Lohan has been released from the slammer.
The “Mean Girls” actress walked away from the Century Regional Detention Facility at 1:35am this morning (August 2) and has checked into rehab.
Though she was thought to be headed to Morningside Recovery, LiLo will spend her rehabilitation time at the UCLA Medical Center. And after that’s over, she’ll have random drug and alcohol screenings until August of 2011.

Mama Lohan told press, "I was finally able to hug my daughter [last night] after two long weeks of speaking to her from behind a glass wall.”

The star, 23, was almost forced into an involuntary psychiatric evaluation recently by officers who have worked with her to avoid paparazzi, according to the New York Daily News.
The cops, members of the LAPD, reportedly have become so concerned with Lohan’s “erratic behavior,”, that they discussed putting her under the evaluation, also known as a 5150 code.
