Taylor Swift has absolved Kanye West of last year's onstage sin with one somber song.
The 20-year-old delivered a poignant and powerful ode about West at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles that instead of criticizing him, sympathized with his difficult time in the spotlight and West's own admissions that his ego has often gotten in his own way.
"Thirty-two and still growing up now; who you are is not what you did," she sang softly, adding: "You're still an innocent."

Country cutie Taylor Swift arrived wearing a rust-coloured dress and cut a very sleek figure after taming her curly mane for the night, but although she wowed on the red carpet she was a dud when it came to winning.
Despite being up for three awards Swift failed to take home a single gong at the 2010 CMT Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee - being pipped at the post by Carrie Underwood, the winner of the night who scored two awards.

Over the weekend, the slimefest that is Nickelodeon’s annual Kids’ Choice Awards took place. Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas has denied cheating on ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift - putting the break-up down to "a change of heart."
Jonas came under fire recently after Swift revealed he had ended their relationship in a 27-second phone call and accused him of dumping her for 10,000 B.C. actress Camilla Belle.

Country star Taylor Swift is trying to get over her split from Joe Jonas by listening to sad songs and talking to her cat.
