Eminem on radio prank talking about new album

After all, Eminem isn’t getting fat on a Caribbean island like some of the reports have said.

Rather, he’s pranking LL Cool J with phone calls while the J is on a radio show.

LL Cool J was a guest on Tony Touch’s Toca Tuesday show, a show on Eminem’s Sirius Satellite radio station, Shade 45, and a fan called in and identified himself as “Jason from Miami.” Jason went on to say that he was a die-hard Cool J fan and challenged the Deep Blue Sea star to a “Name That Tune” with J’s lyrics.

“I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it, but I’ll try . . . I’ll try to play the game with you! Why not?” He then laughed when Jason began to spit the rhymes from “Eat Em Up L Chill,” which J quickly recognized.

After two more songs, Cool J got both right and said, “You sound hot saying the joints! That sounds like you need to write some bars, homie! . . . You sound good, baby.”

The caller then asked if he could recite some lyrics that he wrote himself. “Can I drop a little something?” he asked. He then began the lyrics to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” and that was when the caller’s true identity was learned.

“I’ve been a fan forever,” Eminem told J, as they laughed on air. The rappers talked on air, and decided to hang out after J’s interview to watch the basketball game.

Eminem didn’t address the rumors that he has gained a great deal of weight, but told the host of the show, “Everything is good. I’m just in the studio now working on songs.”
